01 · Information we collect

We receive information directly from you, automatically when you use the store, and from providers that help operate it. Depending on your interaction, this includes:

• Contact and account details: name, business email, phone number, company or property name, billing and shipping addresses, account identifiers and preferences.
• Purchases and service history: products viewed, saved or purchased, quantities, order and payment status, delivery information and support correspondence. Payment details are processed by Shopify and payment providers; do not send payment card numbers in a contact form or email.
• Trade and sample requests: property type, room or unit count, states of operation, estimated purchasing volume, sample selection, delivery instructions and information you choose to include. We may receive resale or exemption certificates and other business documents you submit for review.
• Device and browsing information: IP address, browser and device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, pages and products visited, and interactions with the store. Cookies and similar technologies help collect this information.

Please provide only the information needed for your request. Our general forms are not intended for Social Security numbers, identity documents, medical information or payment credentials.

02 · How we use information

We use these details to operate accounts and checkout; process and fulfill orders; arrange shipping; review trade applications and business documentation; respond to sample requests and order issues; communicate with you; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain records; and meet legal obligations. Store activity also helps us understand and improve the shopping experience.

Submitting a trade or sample request does not subscribe you to a marketing list. If you separately choose to receive promotional communications, you can unsubscribe using the link in those messages. Order, account and service messages may still be sent when needed.

03 · Who receives information

Information relevant to these purposes is handled by our team and service providers, including Shopify for ecommerce, payment providers, fulfillment and delivery providers, email and cloud service providers, and technical support providers. Trade and sample submissions are also recorded using Google services to support follow-up. Our authorized website service provider helps administer these systems.

Contact, transaction and delivery details are shared as needed to fulfill orders. Business-request details and correspondence are used for review and customer support. Device identifiers and browsing activity may be processed by Shopify and its partners for analytics, personalization and advertising features, subject to applicable choices. These disclosures may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some U.S. state laws, even without a monetary sale.

We may also disclose relevant information within our corporate group, at your direction, to comply with law or valid legal process, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business reorganization or transfer.

Our relationship with Shopify

Shopify hosts the store and processes personal information to provide and improve its services. We use Shopify enhanced features that may combine information about interactions with this store, other merchants and Shopify to protect, grow and improve our business. Links to other stores

Some products link to Amazon for purchase. Following those links takes you to a separate service governed by its own privacy practices. The same applies to other external websites.

04 · Cookies, storage and privacy choices

Essential cookies support functions such as security, sign-in, checkout and the cart. Other cookies and similar technologies support analytics, personalization and advertising. The store also uses browser storage for features such as saved products, comparisons and recovering a form submission for follow-up.

Use Your privacy choices to access Shopify’s data-sharing opt-out controls in supported regions. You can also contact us to request an opt-out. Where required by applicable law, Shopify recognizes Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of sale or sharing for the browser and device sending the signal; it may also associate the choice with your account when it can identify it. Other “Do Not Track” signals are not treated as an opt-out.

If a cookie consent banner is shown in your region, use its controls to accept, reject or manage optional cookies. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, although essential store features may stop working. Choices may need to be repeated on another device or after clearing browser data. Opting out of targeted advertising does not remove all advertising.

05 · Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, the law that applies and any applicable exceptions, you may request access to or a copy of personal information, information about its collection and disclosure, correction, deletion, portability, or an opt-out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Where applicable, you may also limit certain uses of sensitive information or opt out of profiling used for legally significant decisions.

To make a request, email connect@jypesausa.com or call (800) 482-2127. Include your request and the email associated with your interaction. You do not need to create an account. We may verify your identity for requests involving access, changes or deletion; an authorized agent may submit a request with evidence of authorization. Opt-out requests do not require account creation.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any permitted exception or extension. We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights. If we deny a request, you can appeal by emailing the same address with “Privacy appeal” in the subject. We will explain the outcome and any applicable complaint options. You may also contact your state attorney general or other competent privacy authority.

06 · Retention and security

Retention depends on the record and its purpose: maintaining an account or business relationship, fulfilling an order or request, accounting and tax obligations, fraud prevention and resolving disputes. Deletion rights can be subject to these obligations. This applies to information held in Shopify, business correspondence and request records.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Use checkout for payment details and contact our team before sending sensitive documentation. Keep your account credentials private.

07 · Children, international processing and updates

This store is intended for adult hospitality and business buyers, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or knowingly sell or share information about people under 16. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information can contact us to request deletion.

Our U.S. store uses Shopify and other providers that may process information in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Protections and rights may differ by country.

We may update this notice to reflect changes in the store, our practices or applicable requirements. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.
